Yeing-Lang Chong Partner

When undertaking your workplace investigations, I adopt a thorough and just approach. I specialise in getting to the heart of the matter, conducting a thorough examination of the evidence and meticulously examining details to ensure I have a comprehensive understanding to prepare my report.

I am committed to impartiality; making decisions that are consistently fair and unbiased.

Having been accredited with a Certificate in Human Resources from the CIPD, I understand the need to address workplace investigations promptly and with sensitivity.

In my professional career, I advise both the public and private sectors with particular interest within the charity, education and local government sectors. In the private sector, I advise on a balanced and broad range of clients ranging from large plc and multi-national organisations and SME businesses to individuals including senior managers and directors.

I advise on employment matters ranging from recruitment through to dismissal and have addressed complex grievances and disciplinary issues. I also support clients with tribunal litigation which include unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing, so I am adept at examining documents and evidence and interviewing witnesses.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and, over the last 20 years, I have advised exclusively in employment law, holding positions in large regional firms and heading up the employment department of a smaller firm. With my experience of the legal process and understanding of working in a business, I am well-placed to support you with your workplace investigation.
